Is the audience for popular music created by the music industry?

This is a hard one to judge, in the modern day the music industry have attracted more audiences to listen to different variation of music like hip hop, rock rnb and so on. They make sure tunes are well critiqued, they also put sound effect where possible to make the music sound better.
Some say with shops like hmv, virgin megastore and walmarts they allow audiences to get the music they want to hear, this started in the 20th century, before this time there was no such thing as music industry but their were still fans out there buying music of their favourite rappers and musicians.
My final take on this is music industry can be said to be the door opener for publicity, merchandising, advertising and money making for artist and also create wider audiences for the different genre type of music.

  1. This blog post addresses the question only a very superficial level and fails to assimilate any of the theory that we discussed in the lecture into your answer.

  2. Your blogs occasionally make some interesting points but unfortunately these points are often undermined by your poor use of language. You have a tendency to write in long, rambling sentences that often make little sense and seem more like rants than structured arguments. In addition some of your points are hard to understand or lack sufficient evidence, for example when you argue "Youth are mainly present when there is problem"
